5 Timeless Necklace Styles
Necklaces are a jewellery item that has been loved by men and women for centuries. They add elegance, character and an additional sparkle to any outfit.

1. Curb - A curb chain is a type of chain in which circular links interlock and lay flat and close together, often having a masculine look, but also looking great given a more feminine twist. These chains can come in a variety of widths with links that are always uniform in size.
2. Figaro - This chain is designed with several small, round links in between long, oval links. This style of necklace chain originated in Italy, hence the name. It is often used for men’s jewellery but thinner links paired with a delicate pendant can look timelessly elegant on women.
3. Rope - Rope chains are a sure way to look elegant and luxurious; this chain has strands of thin gold that is delicately intertwined in order to resemble a rope. The tighter the rope is, the more gold that has been used and therefore the higher the price and the more it is valued at.
4. Mariner - These necklaces are similar to curb links; however they resemble the chains which are attached to an anchor on a boat, which is where the name ‘Mariner’ comes from. These chains are a favourite amongst both men and women, and look great on their own with no pendant.
5. Snake - These snake chains are made up of very small rings that fit perfectly and tightly together, rather than having visible links like the other necklace styles. These chains are usually narrow and elegant, making them ideal for pendants and for making a big impact.
