Different Engravings Other Than Your Initials

Engravings can make a piece of jewellery much more special than it already is. It’s almost an art and can take on many different forms.

Quotes

Sometimes, an inspirational quote can define the way you live your life. Having one engraved on a necklace or ring can be a great way to show people the rules you live by.

If you’re unsure what kind of quote you’d want to have as an engraving, take a look online or flick through some of your favourite books. Something a hero of yours might have said might even make it on the jewellery. 

Pet Names

By “pet names” we mean affectionate terms your loved ones give you as well as the literal names of your pets. Who said the engraving had to be for a human, after all?

In any case, pet names are far less formal and much more personal to people than their full real names. It can also strengthen the bond you have.

Gemstones

You don’t have to just engrave words, gemstones can be engraved (or embedded) into jewellery and can have a much more significant meaning than a flowery message.

Gemstones are also assigned to star signs and birth months, meaning you could choose a meaningful stone to represent your inner self.

Timestamps

A significant date and time which you have spent with your loved one can act as a lovely engraving. Again, it can say a lot more than words ever could.

This could be anything from your wedding anniversary, to a birthday, to a time that was very special to you. These dates can be written in number of ways as well, from the usual numbers to Roman numerals.
