The awards season is in full swing and what a lovely turnout it has been so far! With bright new talents emerging and old talents getting the recognition they deserve; each event has become a much more diverse and glamorous than ever before.

A large part of this is due to the jewellery on display. The red carpet dazzles everyone as celebrities show off the various diamond necklaces and gold bracelets they have decided to wear. Let’s take a look at some of the best displays of glitzy jewellery found at awards season so far!

Lady GaGa

While it’s no question Lady GaGa’s a talented individual, her prowess has largely been in music so her acting in American Horror Story and, more recently, A Star Is Born took us all pleasantly by surprise.

The same can be said about what she decided to wear on the red carpet. At the Golden Globes and, she turned out in a beautiful diamond necklace and earrings created by Tiffany & Co, just to demonstrate what a true star she is.

Lupita Nyong’o

The Kenyan star has truly shown what she is capable of in every role she has taken on and her turn as Nakia in Marvel’s Black Panther has been given some recognition. The film may have been released almost a year ago but it’s still one of the studio’s best outings.

Nyong’o’s taste in jewellery is equally admirable. Bedecked in Bulgari earrings that dazzled the paparazzi at the Golden Globes, the jewels truly match her deep blue gown and eye-shadow, extenuating the contours of her features.

Olivia Coleman

Having come a long way since Peep Show, Olivia Coleman’s funny turn as Queen Anne in The Favourite has been met with acclaim from a number of notable critics, with her performance adding to the success of the film.

Well-known for her role in ITV’s Broadchurch, she has demonstrated her acting chops quite well in every episode she starred in. On the red carpet, her beautiful black dress was complimented nicely by her David Morris earrings which matched her studded netting perfectly.

Constance Wu

The star of Crazy Rich Asians, Constance Wu is another example of a fine young talent that is finally getting the recognition that she deserves. Aiming for the fairy tale angle, Wu wore a dazzling nude princess gown that certainly caught everyone’s eye.

Her simple Messika necklace however truly highlighted her outfit with a wonderful arrangement of diamonds around her neck. A truly spectacular piece of jewellery.

Amy Adams

The lovely Amy Adams has appeared in many films to date and has demonstrated her talent for the big screen. Her turn in Arrival in 2016 truly highlighted her talent as an actress.

Turning up to the Golden Globes in an off-the-shoulder blue number, her Cartier jewellery perfectly fits within the entire ensemble.
