U.K Jewellery Awards Winners 2021

In association with Betts Group, the U.K Jewellery Awards entered its 29th year with DJ Toby Tarrant as its host on 1st September. With over 600 guests in attendance, the event is the longest-running and most prestigious trade awards event for the jewellery and watch industry.

The awards recognise excellence in a variety of categories including everything from design and customer service to retail and supply. It is a great opportunity for businesses in the industry to showcase their products on a national scale.

The night’s results

The first in-person event in the industry for the last 18 months saw some outstanding designers, businesses, and pieces of jewellery.

Major winners of the night included Beaverbrooks, a multiple store retailer who won the Retailer of the Year award (a firm with six stores or more), in addition to the Employer of the Year Award.

London retailer The Alkemistry was awarded Retailer of the Year and Domino, a fine jewellery manufacturer and supplier, won the Jewellery/ Watch supplier of the Year Award.

The prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award 2021 went to jewellery designer, Shaun Leane, who said: “I feel blessed that I was born with creativity, but it is the people I met along the way that nurtured me, with courage and conviction, that allowed me to flourish and evolve to be the designer and craftsman that I am today.”
