Rolex Submariner 1680 Red Writing "Meters First"

A stunning vintage Rolex Submariner. Stainless steel model, 40mm case, Oyster bracelet (replaced by Rolex, circa 1981), 'MK II' "Meters first" dial with red writing and tritium applied hour markers, bidirectional rotating bezel with a black aluminium bezel insert and a 'Triplock' screw-down crown. 

This highly collectible watch is a circa 1970 model and is provided with a vintage Rolex box and outer box, red and green swing tag, translation booklet and Rolex service papers from 2010. Presented in very good condition particularly for the age, the dial has aged beautifully and shows a gorgeous patina on the hands and hour counters. A superb example.
